Recovery

If you are injured at work from 1 July 2015, you will be supported to recover from your injury and return to work and life as soon as possible.

Work fatalities

In the event of a compensable workplace fatality, we will provide financial support and assistance to dependent family members.

Our claims agents, EML and Gallagher Bassett, will provide early assistance and personalised service that takes into consideration the specific circumstances of you and your employer.

Your support team

If you are injured at work, you will be supported by a range of people to recover from your injury and return to work and life.

Returning to work

If you are injured at work from 1 July 2015, and are likely to be off work for more than two weeks, your case manager may refer you to a return to work service provider to help you return to your pre-injury position or another role with alternative duties.

Assessing your injury

Before you submit a claim to receive financial support to cover medical treatment, care and support for your work injury, you will need to have your injury assessed by a doctor.
