There are a number of services available to injured workers to help them recover and return to work.

Medical

Research shows that being at work is generally good for a person’s health and wellbeing. The associated benefits include physical activity, social contact, daily structure and financial security. Doctors play a central role in promoting health and wellbeing during their patient’s recovery. They are vital in promoting lasting recovery and helping a worker return to work and life as soon as possible.

When an injury occurs

Information about the support you will receive through the Return to Work scheme if you are injured at work.

Regulating self-insured

We regulate self-insured employers to ensure that they comply with their obligations outlined in the Return to Work Act 2014.
