Our regulatory role

ReturnToWorkSA is responsible for regulating the Return to Work scheme in South Australia. Our compliance and enforcement program covers a range of regulatory requirements under the Scheme and is designed to protect the integrity and fairness of the Scheme.

Mentally healthy workplaces

A mentally healthy workplace places the same importance on both mental and physical health and safety in the workplace.

Non-compliance

All participants of the Return to Work scheme including ReturnToWorkSA, employers and workers, must comply with their obligations under the Return to Work Act 2014.

Effective pain management

Pain is complex and the Biopsychosocial approach has been widely recognised which captures a variety of factors that may be contributing to the pain experience.
